In 2022, during the Turing Hackathon Cycle 3 organized by the Techo Startup Center (TSC) in Phnom Penh, a new idea took shape β€” an idea to make buying and selling second-hand items in Cambodia simple, fast, and secure.
That idea became Eshop855.com.

The hackathon encouraged innovators to build solutions for real local needs. Among them was Alpha X, a passionate technologist and entrepreneur who saw an opportunity to create a digital space where people could easily connect to trade second-hand goods without barriers.
Within a few days, he and his small team built the first working prototype of what would later become one of Cambodia’s most promising online marketplaces.
